COACHING

 In 2021, through pure serendipity, I was given the chance to train as a coach with a US company called Enlifted. They have a powerful method that focuses on story, language and breath to help people understand their internal narrative, adjust their mindset and strip away limiting beliefs. 

Its effectiveness blew me away, and initially I began using their tool to help women overcome their fear of public speaking. 

Becoming an influential speaker means understanding and truly owning your story. You have to inhabit your beliefs, values and experience, and in doing so you are also learning to lead. So, from here I naturally transitioned into leadership coaching, and I now work with women who are seeking to become more confident leaders (regardless of seniority - I define leadership as a set of behaviours). 

This might look like improving negotiation skills, conflict resolution, boundary setting, leading a team through culture change, or working through a period of identity change such as transitioning back to work from maternity leave. I am also available for straight forward public speaking training. 

Every year I commit to developing my coaching practice in a different way. In 2025 I did a course in conflict resolution so I can support my clients to have difficult conversations more successfully.  This has been especially prevalent as political issues become more prominent in the workplace. 

In 2026 I will be undertaking a Level 7 Executive Coaching Qualification, however I don't believe you need endless certifications to be a good coach, and I am wary of being reliant on them. Overtime I've developed a strong personal code of ethics, and accountability to my clients that has proved effective.
