You’re not alone. Many women find themselves reaching a place in their career, knowing they have great ideas but lacking the confidence or strategy to communicate them in a way that influences.
If this sounds familiar then please join me!
To speak powerfully you have to feel powerful, so we'll start here. I will give you four very practical ways that you can better understand yourself, leverage your strengths, and manage your energy.
Generally we're taught how to inform an audience, rather than how to influence them. Influence is generated through connection so we'll look at storytelling techniques grounded in your lived experience, as well as how to structure your speaking so that you engage an audience rather than overwhelm them.
Difficult conversations are a critical part of leadership, but all too often they are either too polite or too confrontational. We will look at how to steer the middle ground so that you can bridge differences of opinion, and direct the flow of attention towards an outcome you desire.
Finally, we'll land on how to manage fear. There are tried and tested ways to control the nerves that threaten to overwhelm us when we speak. We'll look at four ways you can alter your relationship with fear.
